I’m Christopher, a photographer from Bochum. You get clear guidance, help in front of the camera and my honest opinion. I want to know what your pictures are for and what bothers you about previous photos, so we can work on the things that matter to you during your shoot.
It started with a camera from my grandmother.
When I was a little boy, my grandmother gave me a simple digital camera. Suddenly I could decide for myself which moments to capture. I experimented, explored and took pictures — and kept wanting to see more.
For my birthday in 2017, I received a DSLR with interchangeable lenses. I could now work more deliberately with perspective, light and the effect of an image. My hobby grew into a desire to make photography my profession.
In 2021, I completed my vocational qualification as a portrait photographer. Since then I have worked on different projects and continued to develop my photographic style. I’m particularly interested in people, their ideas and the details you only notice when you look closely.
You get my honest opinion. Always.
If something doesn’t look good, I’ll tell you. Full stop. You get 100% honest feedback: Does the pose work? Does your expression look the way you want? Does the outfit help the image or distract from it? I tell you what I see and suggest specific changes.
You can be just as open with me. If you dislike a picture or a pose feels wrong, say so. We’ll try something else. With children and animals, we respond to the situation rather than forcing an idea at any cost.
I ask questions before we take pictures.
What are the pictures for? What do you like? What would you like to try? Your answers help us plan the shoot.

I give you practical guidance. Questions about where to look, what to do with your hands or how to stand are welcome. You can contact me for your very first shoot, too.
I pay attention after the shoot, too.
I carefully select and edit the images with their impact in mind. We discuss the number of pictures and how you will receive them beforehand.
